5 common questions answered
NHTSA recalls for the 2017 Land Rover Discovery Sport involve two safety-related areas. A seat belt pretensioner may not function properly in a crash, which could leave front-seat occupants inadequately restrained and increase injury risk. Separately, front lower control arm fasteners may fail because of an assembly error; steering knuckle separation could affect handling and increase crash risk. Waiting can leave a known safety concern unresolved. Because the remedy is free at an authorized Land Rover dealer, there is a clear reason to act promptly.
